About the Cause

Gain Basic Professional Skills in Masonry Children and youth will learn the fundamentals of masonry, such as mixing cement, laying bricks, and plastering, and the proper and safe use of tools. This knowledge will be applied to everyday life or as a foundation for future careers. Learn Teamwork and Discipline This course emphasizes hands-on group practice, promoting collaboration, delegating responsibilities, and developing discipline in the work process. Develop Self-Pride When youth are able to create their own masterpieces, such as building a small wall or repairing a community area, they will gain pride and confidence in their abilities. Reduce Risky Behaviors and Use Free Time Productively This activity is a good alternative for creatively spending free time, helping youth stay away from the media or risky behaviors, such as playing games all day, going out to party, or using drugs. See Future Careers Some children may discover a passion and aptitude for carpentry, which can be a starting point for further vocational education or apprenticeships leading to a stable job market, such as construction, repair, or freelance plastering.

What the church is contributing
Physical Resources
We use the area around the church as a practical training area and provide tools for mixing and pouring cement such as cement, sand, cement mixing buckets, and dust masks.
Human Resources
The church and members are taking the time to be a trainer and help train children who are skilled craftsmen or have experience in construction work, and help prepare the place, and support with necessary materials and tools.
Financial Resources
$153
How the church will sustain the Cause
Create internal revolving income, for example, trained youths can take on small repair or construction jobs in the community, such as repairing walls, fences, walls, stairs, concrete, etc. Income from these jobs can be used to circulate project expenses, such as purchasing materials or repairing tools. Once the project is stable, courses will be opened to the general public or interested outsiders to join, with a small registration fee, which will help generate additional income for the project. Buildings, churches, pavilions, or empty spaces in the church can be used as training and internship venues, reducing rental fees and training volunteers or church members to become trainers to reduce costs and create flexibility.
