About Guatemala
Guatemala’s name comes from an ancient Nahuatl Aztec word meaning “land of many trees.” This Central American country is rich in Indigenous heritage and stunning landscapes. Yet many communities face challenges such as poverty, malnutrition, and limited access to education.

Enjoying a safe space for our children and teenagers
In the hearts of every member of our partner church and the ministry of the Child Development Center, we are grateful to God and our donor brothers and sisters for allowing us to see this project completed. The children and teenagers are already enjoying safe outdoor facilities where they can participate in a variety of activities. We lacked a space for physical activity, and now we can schedule activities where they can run, enjoy fresh air, sunshine, and beautiful views. Over the next few weeks, we will continue making improvements to the area so that everyone can enjoy spending time there. Our prayer is that God will bless your lives for your love and kindness toward the children of our city.
