Currently, children and youth in the community lack opportunities to access practical vocational skills that can be applied in daily life. Hairdressing is a job that is easy to learn, doesn't take long, requires little investment, and can be pursued as a full-time or self-employed individual. Therefore, organizing a hairdressing skills training program for children and youth is important to provide them with opportunities to learn from experts, practice real skills, apply their knowledge in daily life, and build upon it to generate income in the future. It also helps strengthen the community's capacity to have more skilled service personnel and become self-reliant sustainably.

How the church will sustain the Cause
To keep this initiative going, we will organize ongoing classes or workshops to train advanced skills as well as allow youth to practice cutting hair and receive regular guidance from experts. We will also use a motivation and recognition system with award certificates or prizes upon completion of various training levels to build self-esteem and motivate youth to continuously improve themselves. With community connection and income-generating opportunities, it will allow youth to offer haircutting services at community events, school events, or home visits. We will create opportunities for them to see their value and use their skills to earn a living. To support the classes, we will create manuals, instructional videos, and haircutting techniques for youth to review and practice independently. With this, we will ensure knowledge is not lost and can be passed on to future generations. Ultimately, we want to create a network of skilled youth where we establish clubs or groups of youth interested in haircutting and promote the exchange of knowledge, experience, and mutual support within the community.
