The children in this community have already learned how to cultivate black oyster and Bhutanese mushrooms through vocational training, gaining knowledge that can benefit them for life. However, without a stable mushroom house, their work is limited by weather and materials, which restricts both production and income.
This Cause will provide the materials, construction, and equipment needed to build a proper mushroom house. With this house, children will be able to grow mushrooms year-round, producing fresh food for their families and selling mushrooms and spawns to generate a small income.
Through this work, children will gain more than just food or money. They will learn responsibility, money management, and basic business skills while developing confidence in their ability to contribute meaningfully to their households.
