Having access to adequate and varied nutritious food is essential for the growth and development of children, especially those living in boarding schools who sometimes lack access to fresh and nutritionally complete food. Our church's boarding school initiative has conceived the idea of establishing an on-site agricultural garden to grow vegetables and raise animals. This will create a safe, fresh, clean, and diverse food source, allowing the children in the boarding schools to use fresh vegetables, eggs, milk, and small amounts of meat for their meals.
This project also promotes agricultural knowledge and skills among the boarding school children. They will learn the food production process from start to finish, including practicing plant and animal care, production planning, and sustainable resource management.
Furthermore, having an on-site agricultural garden will reduce food expenses, promote food security, and create a long-term self-sufficiency framework. This will ensure the children have proper nutrition, are healthy, and are ready to learn and participate in various activities to their full potential.
To passionately expand God's Kingdom throughout the Nakian area, reaching hearts, transforming lives, and spreading His love and grace.
