Clean drinking water is a fundamental right and a crucial factor for good health, especially for children who are in their growth stage and require extra hygiene care. However, many remote areas face challenges accessing quality drinking water due to a lack of infrastructure, standard water filters, or contaminated water sources. This puts children and the general public at risk of waterborne illnesses such as diarrhea, skin diseases, malnutrition, and various gastrointestinal infections. Living conditions in our community, which is located in a remote area, often have limitations in resources, budget, and government support, resulting in limited access to clean drinking water for schools, childcare centers, and households. This affects the learning, daily lives, and overall quality of life of children and people in the community. To address this problem, our water cause is dearly needed. It focuses on providing and installing standard, safe, and contextually appropriate water purification systems or water filters, as well as promoting drinking water hygiene knowledge to children, families, and community leaders. The goal is for everyone to have sustainable access to clean water, reduce health risks, and improve the quality of life in the long term.
Supporting this project will help our community have continuous access to safe drinking water, reduce household expenses, increase educational opportunities, and create an environment that promotes good hygiene for children and people of all ages in the community.
