This project will deliver significant and lasting impact on children, families, and the wider community. By addressing the urgent shortage and unsafe condition of restrooms, it will immediately improve children’s health, dignity, and overall well-being. Children will no longer need to endure long waiting times or avoid using restrooms, reducing the risk of illness and enabling them to fully participate in activities with confidence and comfort. Beyond the physical improvements, the project will strengthen community capacity and ownership. Families and local leaders will gain practical construction and sanitation skills that can be applied to future community needs, creating a ripple effect of self-reliance and problem-solving. The establishment of a sustainable maintenance system will ensure that the benefits continue long after the project ends, preventing the same issues from recurring. For children and youth, the project provides a safe and meaningful way to engage, building awareness of hygiene, responsibility, and teamwork. Their involvement in decorating, maintaining, and caring for the facilities will foster pride and a sense of belonging, reinforcing positive behaviors that extend into their daily lives. In the long term, this initiative will not only improve sanitation but also rebuild trust among parents, encouraging greater participation in community activities. It will contribute to a safer, healthier, and more inclusive environment, while strengthening unity and shared responsibility among community members. Ultimately, the project lays a strong foundation for sustainable community development driven by collaboration, ownership, and care.

1. Structural and Environmental Sustainability This approach focuses on designing and selecting durable, environmentally friendly, and energy-efficient materials to reduce long-term maintenance costs. # Appropriate material selection: Use water-saving sanitary fixtures (such as dual-flush toilets with adjustable water flow) and durable, easy-to-clean surfaces that can withstand frequent use by children. # Use of natural energy: Design restrooms to maximize natural daylight, reducing the need for artificial lighting, and ensure proper ventilation to minimize odors and humidity without relying on electric fans. #Proper wastewater management: Install standard septic tank systems to prevent environmental contamination and protect community groundwater sources. #Promoting hygiene-friendly environments: Create engaging spaces with child-friendly reminder signs and accessible handwashing stations, encouraging children to naturally develop and maintain good hygiene habits.
