Currently, health issues such as obesity, diabetes, hypertension, and other chronic non-communicable diseases are rising steadily among children, adults in the church, and the broader community. A key contributing factor is unhealthy lifestyles, including lack of regular exercise, poor diets, and spending leisure time on activities that do not promote health. Children use their free time productively, avoiding drugs, addiction, gaming, and reducing their time spent on the phone. This project aims to address these challenges by creating accessible public spaces dedicated to exercise and health activities. These spaces will be equipped with exercise machines, sports equipment, and playgrounds for recreation. This community-based initiative promotes physical, mental, and social well-being, strengthening positive relationships within the community and encouraging sustainable, healthy lifestyles. Ultimately, the Health Courtyard will improve the overall quality of life for children and adults by providing consistent, suitable spaces and activities tailored to the community’s needs, fostering healthier habits and better life outcomes for all residents.

Church members assist weekly in maintaining the sports field and lead exercise and training sessions for the community.

Continuously provide education and raise awareness about the benefits of exercise and healthy living through workshops, outreach, and community programs. Implement a maintenance system to ensure equipment remains in good condition and is used effectively for maximum benefit. Foster a sense of ownership by encouraging community contributions to a dedicated fund for equipment repairs and maintenance, ensuring the sustainability and durability of the health activities over time.
