How the church will sustain the Cause
1. Building a team or local leadership group: We have already begun building a team of community volunteers, comprising teachers, students, community leaders, and local officials. They have all received basic training in waste management, waste separation, and behavior change communication. If I am unable to continue my duties, this team will be able to immediately take over community and school-level activities, using pre-prepared plans and materials. 2. Systematic Knowledge and Approach Transfer: We have developed activity manuals, training materials, and monthly work plan forms to ensure the project is systematic and transferable, independent of any single key person. If operations are temporarily suspended or new leaders take over, these documents will ensure continuity and standardization. 3. Developing a network of teacher and student leaders: One approach to expanding the project's reach to children and families is to establish "Youth Environmental Leaders." Students who are interested and have the potential to lead activities such as school waste separation, composting demonstrations, and recycling household items. 4. Collaboration with schools, temples, and local agencies: To ensure the project's long-term impact, even when we are unable to participate directly, I have partnered with local schools and incorporated waste separation and recycling activities into Boy Scout/Girl Guide activities. Or community activities. Meanwhile, we've partnered with temples to organize the "Trash for Dhamma" project, which invites families to exchange recyclable waste for essential items and listen to Dhamma sermons to cultivate a positive conscience.
