The community is seeking to promote careers and increase income from processing traditional foods, such as galangal chili paste and salted fish. This local wisdom, which has long been lacking modernization and access to a wider market, is a key driver of this project. This project will benefit housewives, working adults, and the elderly, who can earn additional income from home without having to travel far to work. With support in packaging, marketing expertise, and standardized recipe development, local products can be elevated to compete in both domestic and international markets, contributing to job security and strengthening the community's grassroots economy.
10% is used for operating costs, enabling us to grow and expand our ability to offer Compassion Causes to more churches worldwide.

Youth and housewives groups have skills in cooking traditional food according to local wisdom and have experience in traditional food preservation such as drying.

If the project cannot continue, its stability will depend on the pre-established systems, including team building, knowledge transfer, and collaboration with local leaders. We have already begun implementing these initiatives to some extent. We have also established guidelines to increase the participation of the younger generation and their families to ensure continued intergenerational transfer. Enhancing local food processing not only increases income but also preserves local wisdom and strengthens family and community relationships. If this project can continue, whether with or without me, it will truly establish a foundation for self-reliance and the transmission of valuable values from one generation to the next.
