Progress update Houses Renovation Cause
Date Posted: 11/26/2025
We sincerely express our gratitude to our donors and supporters whose generous contributions have made it possible for families without adequate housing to have safe and dignified homes. Because of this support, beneficiary families are now experiencing improved living conditions and renewed hope for a better future. The announcement of this assistance was received with deep appreciation and joy. Following the receipt of the donation, church leaders convened meetings with the beneficiary families to formally communicate the good news. The families responded with great excitement and gratitude upon learning of the support. In light of the overwhelming need within the community and the high number of families living in poor housing conditions, it was collectively agreed—during these consultations—to extend the support beyond the originally planned ten beneficiaries. As a result, seven additional families were included, bringing the total number of beneficiary households to seventeen. The families committed to supporting one another to ensure that the available resources are used efficiently and equitably for the benefit of all. The project is currently serving 17 families, and housing renovation activities are underway and progressing well. Early observations indicate positive momentum, with visible improvements already taking shape. The church is profoundly grateful for the opportunity and resources to address the housing needs of its members. This Cause has strengthened its ability to serve holistically, meeting both physical and spiritual needs, and has further enabled effective outreach and ministry among the most vulnerable. One of the beneficiaries, Joselyne, is a homeless orphan and a single mother of four children. Prior to this Cause, she and her children depended entirely on the goodwill of neighbors for shelter. Upon receiving the news, she shared her heartfelt gratitude, stating: “I can hardly find the words to express my joy. It feels like a dream. I am so happy to finally have a home. I am no longer homeless.” More detailed progress updates, including additional testimonies and impact stories, will be shared in the next report.
About the Cause

This cause intend to improve the conditions of children and their families whose house will be renovated. For now they are living in small and old houses with holes and damaged, high risk zone where the shelters could easily sleep down and get families to be wet when it’s raining. This can consequently put the family life in danger and some men dismissed families and look for any other far places to live while Mothers and children remain suffering and living in unhealthy conditions, it also affect social emotion development. This project will benefit 10 beneficiaries and their families. The life for these families is miserable where it is even difficult to get food because most of them do the work of cultivating for others so that they can get money to buy food. They eat once day Which result to the lack of ability to renovate their houses themselves. When this project is completed, children and the family members will be able to live in good and clean houses, which will increase the families life expectancy, family safety and get time to work for family development as long as their are no longer worried about the shelter. These house will need to be renovated in need of iron sheets, bricks, stones, doors, windows, sand, cements, manpower, nails, timbers, trees and paints. These needs will be provided from church, participants contribution and donor's support. This cause will be implemented by using the contribution of the church, participants, and support from donors.

How the church will sustain the Cause
Our church has been supporting the people to have good and clean shelter to live in yearly depending on available abilities, it also mobilizes them to safeguard what they have achieved, working hard and solidality so as to solve their own problems. The church will be able to continue with this mobilization and provide its contribution in solving other similar problems as possible. The church is empowering solidarity through working in associations using their ability where people save money and get credit that can help them to solve some problems. It is also encouraging them to form cooperative and do income generating activities like making soaps and jerry, tailoring and knitting, the church also is encouraging people to do small business all of this activities intend sustainability for what have been achieved and building capacity to solve other problems.
To preach the gospel of Jesus Christ for people's salvation and advocate for the transformation of the community from poverty.
