Raising egg-laying chickens is a low-investment activity that is easy to maintain and provides a reliable source of income. In addition, the eggs produced can be used for family consumption, helping to reduce food costs. This project aims to empower community members and churches by teaching sustainable egg-laying chicken farming practices that foster responsibility, teamwork, and long-term income generation. Expectations Participants in this project will acquire knowledge and skills necessary for raising egg-laying chickens effectively. They will be able to produce eggs for both personal consumption and sale, thereby generating additional income for their families or churches. This initiative will also instill a sense of self-reliance and promote the efficient use of local resources. Possible Problems and Obstacles There may be challenges to address, including a lack of experience in chicken raising, which could lead to initial losses. Additionally, the costs of feed and the risk of poultry diseases may affect productivity. Moreover, a shortage of labor or time for ongoing care could reduce overall efficiency in managing the chickens.

How the church will sustain the Cause
To ensure the longevity of the church's egg-laying chicken project without dependence on additional funding, the church has implemented a comprehensive management plan. A portion of the proceeds from egg sales will be reinvested to cover essential costs such as chicken feed, medication, equipment, and barn maintenance. Additionally, funds will be allocated to a revolving fund to support future chicken breeding. Members will receive training in care, management, and systematic recording of production costs to guarantee the project's effective, independent operation. The church also encourages community involvement, inviting members to assist with egg care, sell eggs, and share some produce with those in need, thereby fostering a spirit of cooperation and shared ownership. As the project expands, it is expected to generate sufficient income to cover ongoing expenses and develop sustainable service activities within the church and neighboring communities.
