Currently Bumbogo parish supports 244 Participants: 116 are Girls and 128 are Boys. We have 472 caregivers who are members of this community. In this community, many people are unemployed, especially among women and adolescent girls. Girls and women are less likely to be employed when compared to boys. They believe that girls or women are more suitable for domestic work, which has limited many to be employed. It is because of this that women and adolescent girls are forced to live as dependents, which limits their productivity. Promotion of tailoring IGA will not only support them gain the desired skills but also create jobs for them. They will improve their earning potential and also their living conditions.
