Rationale In remote mountainous areas of Thailand, many children and youth lack access to quality education. These communities are located in rugged terrain, transportation is difficult, there are no schools in the communities, and many families are impoverished. This forces some children to help their families work, depriving them of continuous learning opportunities and impacting their potential and future prospects. The inspiration for this project came from a child in a mountain community who had to travel long distances through mountain roads to school, sometimes impossible due to weather conditions. Despite these limitations, the child remained determined to learn and dreamed of a better future. Therefore, this project, "Creating Hope Through Learning," was initiated to provide opportunities for children and youth in remote areas to learn through creative activities, develop life skills, morality, ethics, and essential 21st-century skills. Speakers and experts are invited to share their knowledge and experiences to inspire, develop potential, and empower children to become important contributors to their communities and society in the future.
10% is used for operating costs, enabling us to grow and expand our ability to offer Compassion Causes to more churches worldwide.

Project Sustainability Guidelines To ensure the continued operation of the Hope-Building Learning Project without relying on external funding, the project will focus on empowering community members and fostering inclusive participation. This includes developing youth, community leaders, volunteer teachers, and parents to become self-reliant facilitators and activity organizers, while encouraging older youth to mentor younger generations, continuously sharing their knowledge. The project will create reusable learning materials and activity manuals, and integrate activities into church and community children and youth programs to reduce costs and ensure sustainability. Furthermore, it will promote the involvement of parents and community leaders in planning and supporting activities to foster a sense of shared ownership and cultivate a culture of lifelong learning, enabling the community to sustainably develop its children and youth using local resources.
