About the Cause
Posted by TH0967 in Thailand on 11/07/2025
Since most people in the community earn their main income from agriculture, 20 children and youth have opted for non-formal education (NFE) to support their parents while working. However, household income is still insufficient to cover daily expenses. Therefore, promoting pig farming is a suitable and aligned option with the community's context. Pigs are easy to raise, grow quickly, are disease-resistant, have a high price, and are easily sold. These animals can generate additional income for families and the community. Furthermore, this activity provides children and youth with the opportunity to learn about animal husbandry, care, cost management, responsibility, and the development of sustainable career concepts. This activity is believed to foster long-term self-reliance among families and communities.

How the church will sustain the Cause
Use existing profits to expand the project. There is a clear income and expense system and more donations to help those who are interested. Make it a learning center and a center for sending piglets and developing them into dried pork or pork slices.
