About the Cause

Over 25 years ago, our church's first pastor initiated a project with the vision of blessing the lives of children and young people through holistic care. Although it began without financial resources, faith in God and the unwavering support of the congregation and the local community made it possible to construct a space of approximately 60 square meters, which houses five classrooms. Since its inception, these facilities have been of great benefit to the community, serving as an educational center and, on numerous occasions, as a temporary shelter for families affected by natural disasters. However, over time, the roof has reached the end of its useful life. Both the metal sheets and the roofing felt have deteriorated due to the effects of the weather, natural disasters, and the humidity caused by salt air. Currently, during the rainy season, leaks and drips occur, affecting the safe use of the classrooms and threatening to damage the furniture and educational materials. Through this initiative, we seek to repair and improve the roof infrastructure to guarantee dignified, safe, and adequate spaces to continue providing care to the children, youth, and families of the community and surrounding areas who benefit from these facilities.
