Cause Funded & Completed – An Update from Compassion International

We're excited to share that this church in Guatemala not only reached its goal—but exceeded it! A partner church of Compassion in the United States contributed a generous gift to support this cause. The page now shows that the cause is fully funded with "$0 raised." This is simply because the original goal has been met through a direct donation outside of the Compassion Causes website. The funds have been distributed accordingly, and the cause has been completed! Any funds raised for this cause above the original goal were directed to the Finish Line Fund, which helps other causes reach full funding—extending the impact even further. Here is what El Shalom Student Center & Church shared about the implementation of the cause: "I send you a greeting with love in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. May the peace and love of God continue to fill your hearts and lives. It is a privilege to address you, recognizing the valuable work you do in the community, spreading the word of God, and extending your hands to those in need. Thanks to your contribution, we can continue advancing the projects that God has placed in our hands for the benefit of our participants. We have been able to acquire essential construction materials, which have allowed us to make progress in building classrooms for the participants of our Child Development Center (CDC). With your support, we were able to acquire the following: 175 meters of porcelain tile flooring, 15 electrical conduit tubes, 7 boxes of electrical cable, 3 rolls of Scotch electrical tape, 1 four-circuit panel, 125 bags of ceramic adhesive, 10 drywall sheets, 4 bags of tile spacers, 35 bags of white mortar, 2 buckets of interior drywall paste, 5 bags of white multicolor grout, 85 bags of gray plaster, 10 LED bulbs, 6 bags of plastic ties, 10 octagonal boxes, 3 rectangular plastic boxes, 20 LED recessed lights, 10 ceiling lights, 20 additional LED bulbs, 100 bags of cement, 5 double switches, 22 double outlets, binding wire, 3 triple switches, 6 whiteboards for classroom use, and 1 shelving unit. We have no words to express how grateful we are for your generosity. We pray that God abundantly multiplies what you have sown and continues to bless each of you.
