About the Cause

This project aims to significantly improve the conditions under which children receive their meals. Currently, there is an unfinished kitchen constructed of cinder blocks with a dirt floor. We want to offer the children a healthy and pleasant environment, with a room featuring a cement floor. This project will benefit a total of 237 children. The construction area is 13 by 7 square meters, with cinder block walls and a corrugated metal roof. We also plan to install windows, doors, sinks, and plaster the kitchen and floor to provide a healthy, clean, safe, and comfortable environment for the children while they eat.

How the church will sustain the Cause
After four years of support for the CDI (Child Development Center), efforts are underway to formalize an alliance between the local church and the COCODES (Community Development Councils) to strengthen the infrastructure and guarantee a safe environment for the children. Productive and community activities will be implemented for fundraising. In addition, a maintenance plan will be established that includes cleaning, inspection, and periodic repairs of the facilities, with the participation of staff, parents, and the community, ensuring their good condition and sustainability.
