Thank you so much for your generous contributions to this Music Academy! This cause was originally shared in 2022 when we were still building the Compassion Causes website. Since then, this church has continued its excitement for its music academy, and that excitement spread across the community. This church is part of an "association", or a group of churches who work closely together. The association, Asociacion para la Formacion Integral, is going to be taking over the leadership of this cause so that children from this church, and the other 14 churches in the group, can all benefit from this amazing initiative together! Check out the photos with this update to see the Association's headquarters building, where the Music Academy will now take place. We can't wait to keep you updated on the progress of this cause!
This Music Academy seeks to provide and strengthen the work of the local church, in the area of praise and worship. We want to give children, adolescents and young people from our church, student center, and community the opportunity to acquire knowledge of musical art and express their emotions and values through it. Art is a powerful tool for transmitting the word of God, as are the ethical and moral values that make life in society possible. This project, in addition to providing musical education, aims to be a place of worship in preparing our next generation of church leaders.
