Our cause, "Raising and Selling Chickens," will help us train our children and youth in chicken farming, which will allow them to develop socio-emotionally and cognitively, and through the sale of chickens, these children and youth will become economically independent. In our country, and specifically in our community, there is a real lack of training for children and youth in chicken farming, and also an inability of chicken farmers to satisfy customers. We believe that our children and youth, through this cause, will be able to contribute to solving this problem in the community. To do this, we plan to divide the children and youth according to age (12-22 years old) so that this cause is well addressed and the results can positively impact the children, the youth, their families, their communities, and even their countries. We believe this cause will be a springboard for young people into employment in the community; 50% of the 104 children and young people involved will be specialized in the field of livestock farming.
10% is used for operating costs, enabling us to grow and expand our ability to offer Compassion Causes to more churches worldwide.

Our church plans to continue training children and youth; this year, we plan to equip them with kits using the proceeds from our cause. Should there be a chicken mortality rate that could prevent us from reaching our goal, we will leverage the support of the church's livestock entrepreneurs.
