Many children and youth in remote rural areas, particularly in the Utum Church community where girls reside in the church's dormitory, lack access to educational and vocational opportunities due to family poverty. This situation leaves them without essential skills and knowledge to earn a stable income, increasing the risk of dropping out of school and missing out on a sustainable quality of life. Pig farming presents a viable solution, as it is a practical occupation that generates household income, requires minimal space, and can be developed into a small family enterprise. It aligns with rural lifestyles, utilizes local resources, and can be expanded to reduce expenses, increase income, and improve food security. This project will organize pig farming training for these children and youth, providing both theoretical and practical education. Participants will learn about proper pig management, food preparation, hygiene, disease prevention, and basic marketing techniques. Your financial support will empower them with vital life skills, vocational knowledge, and opportunities for self-reliance, enabling them to support their families and develop sustainable livelihoods for the future.
