Clean Water for Leprosy Survivors

We are from a small community that was formerly a leprosy colony. Many leprosy survivors and their descendants live there. It has now been established as a normal community, but people still reside and work within it. One of the challenges facing the community is water, a primary necessity for survival and livelihood. During the dry season, there isn't enough water for consumption and daily use, forcing residents to purchase water by truck for drinking and bathing. This makes life very difficult. The community wants a solar-powered water pump. This energy source would eliminate long-term electricity costs and power the water using solar energy. This would provide residents with sufficient drinking and usable water during the dry season, eliminating the need to purchase water from outside sources. Ultimately, it would improve the quality of life for the children and provide them with access to clean water.
