Children and youth today often show little interest in music. Many are absorbed in games and socializing with friends, and they rarely participate in activities outside of school. As a church, we want to nurture musical skills in young people to help guide them away from excessive gaming and negative peer influences.
Our goal is to encourage them to begin learning music, develop consistent practice habits, and eventually use their talents to serve in the church’s worship ministry. As the Bible says, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” Through this, we hope to see children make the most of their free time in meaningful and productive ways.
