About the Cause

Drugs present a significant threat to many, especially teenagers eager to explore new experiences. In our community, many youths are becoming entangled in drug use, which has led to deteriorating health and a loss of their once-strong spirit. These young individuals, who once loved God and actively attended church, have become distant from their faith, the church, and their family, which has affected their relationships and well-being. In response, the church has developed a strategy to combat this issue by regularly organizing Christian-based anti-drug sports activities. This initiative aims to engage youth in constructive and healthy pursuits, promote physical activity, help them regain their health, and foster a renewed connection with God and their families. Through this program, we hope to restore hope and a positive path for our youth, guiding them away from drugs toward a brighter future.

What the church is contributing

Physical Resources
The local church is contributing physical resources by providing its church building as the main site for the project activities. Additionally, the community football field and volleyball court are available for sports events and activities, supporting the initiative's goal of engaging youth in healthy, drug-free activities.
Human Resources
Church leaders and youth leaders are committed to collaborating with community leaders to organize and implement activities that promote youth engagement and drug prevention. Their combined efforts will help foster a supportive environment for the project's success.

How the church will sustain the Cause

Over the past year, our church has successfully supported 80 youth through various activities and transformative experiences. To ensure the continued positive impact, we will actively encourage and involve our alumni in future activities. By engaging past participants, we aim to foster a supportive community that sustains the program’s benefits, promotes ongoing youth engagement, and reinforces healthy, drug-free lifestyles for years to come.
