During school holidays, children in the community often have unstructured time with limited opportunities for meaningful activities. This can lead to disconnection and lack of guidance.
To respond to this, a short holiday camp will be organized at the church, welcoming both Christian and non-Christian children. We have done small sessions in the past, but we are ill-equipped to make an opportunity for the larger community. The bigger camp will create a space where children can come together, build friendships, and take part in activities that are both engaging and meaningful. And we will be able to run more camps in the future.
Through games, shared meals, and time spent together, children will experience a sense of belonging and connection. Guest speakers and guided sessions will introduce them to the teachings of Jesus in a way that is simple and accessible, helping them understand values that can guide their lives.
This time together will help children grow in relationships, learn in a supportive environment, and begin to build a stronger foundation for their future.
