Many households in our village—particularly those headed by single mothers, the elderly, or individuals with disabilities—face significant economic hardship. Due to physical limitations or the inability to work outside the home, these families often struggle with inadequate income and food insecurity, creating a cycle of poverty that directly impacts the health and development of children and youth in the home.
To address this, we are launching an initiative to promote self-reliance through backyard egg production. By providing targeted training and resources, we enable these households to raise chickens suited to their specific capabilities. This initiative not only helps families reduce grocery expenses and generate supplementary income, but it also improves nutritional outcomes for growing children and youth. By fostering financial stability and food security at home, we are investing in the long-term well-being and future opportunities of the next generation.
Strive to nurture children to be Christ-centered and achieve balance in body, mind, intellect, emotion, and social skills, enabling them to become good, capable, and happy individuals. They will learn to live creatively with others and develop the life skills necessary to thrive in a changing world.
