Our community is blessed with the valuable heritage of blacksmithing, a skill passed down from generation to generation. However, as experienced blacksmiths grow older and fewer young people learn the trade, this important local wisdom is at risk of disappearing.
The "Preserving the Wisdom of Blacksmithing: Creating Jobs and Building a Future" project seeks to provide youth with opportunities to learn traditional blacksmithing skills, including forging, metalworking, repairing agricultural tools, and producing useful household equipment. Through hands-on training, participants will gain practical vocational skills and learn how to turn craftsmanship into sustainable income.
By supporting this project, you are not only helping preserve a valuable cultural heritage but also creating opportunities for employment, entrepreneurship, and self-reliance for the next generation.
Strive to nurture children to be Christ-centered and achieve balance in body, mind, intellect, emotion, and social skills, enabling them to become good, capable, and happy individuals. They will learn to live creatively with others and develop the life skills necessary to thrive in a changing world.
