In our remote community, children do not have access to a proper school building. Learning has been limited by the lack of a stable and safe environment, even though the need for education is strong. Families recognize the importance of education, but they do not have the financial means to build a school on their own. If this is addressed, children will have a consistent place to learn where they can develop knowledge, build friendships, and grow in confidence. A safe and structured environment will support not only their education, but also their social and personal development, helping them move toward a more stable future. To respond to this need, our church will build a school on land that has already been given by the community. This building will serve as a space for learning, activities, and gatherings, supporting children in their education, relationships, and spiritual growth. It will also be used by the wider community as a shared place for meetings and development activities, strengthening both learning and connection within the village.
10% is used for operating costs, enabling us to grow and expand our ability to offer Compassion Causes to more churches worldwide.

Responsibility for the school will be shared between church leaders, local families, and community members, ensuring that it remains active, cared for, and used for its intended purpose. The space will continue to be used regularly for teaching, activities, and community gatherings, keeping it central to village life. Ongoing care will be supported through simple, locally managed contributions and shared effort, allowing maintenance and small needs to be addressed as they arise. Because the school belongs to the community, there is a natural commitment to protect and sustain it. Over time, this will remain a place where children continue to learn, grow, and prepare for the future, while the community strengthens around a shared space that supports both education and connection.
