This project is designed for long-term impact through strong community ownership and practical systems: Rotational Recycling: When students graduate or their households gain electricity, they will return their lamps to be refurbished and passed on to younger children in need. Community Maintenance Fund: Families will contribute a small, affordable monthly amount to a shared fund, which will cover future battery replacements and minor repairs. Annual Church Support: The project will be integrated into the church’s annual budget, along with local fundraising activities such as charity markets to support the purchase of additional lamps. Volunteer-Led Repairs: Trained church members will handle minor repairs at no cost, reducing dependency on external technicians and lowering maintenance expenses.
