The Native Chicken Farming Promotion Project for Youth Empowerment aims to transfer knowledge of native chicken farming to children and youth, resulting in systematic mental, social, and intellectual development. It also aims to create sustainable income and self-reliance. Currently, the community faces challenges due to a lack of knowledge on effective native chicken farming, and local farmers are unable to produce native chickens that meet market demand. The project team recognizes that this group of youth can play a crucial role in addressing these issues. The project targets youth aged 12-22 years, ensuring the learning process aligns with their developmental stages and yields optimal results, ultimately positively impacting families and the community.

Our church continues to provide training for children and youth. This year, we will be providing the children with breeding stock for native chickens, allowing them to get hands-on experience. Livestock officials will also be on hand to assist and ensure the project's success.
