Currently, the Sri Phana community, where our church is located, is facing a shortage of creative and safe spaces for children and youth during school holidays. Many children in the community are vulnerable because their parents often relocate or travel for work for extended periods, resulting in a lack of adequate care and support for positive activities. Through surveys and firsthand experience in the community, the project team found that many children in the community have a great love and talent for music but lack instruments such as drums, guitars, and pianos. This became a major inspiration for establishing this project. The project team recognizes that "music" is not just for entertainment, but a powerful tool for developing emotional, social, and intellectual skills, as well as a means of healing the mind. Establishing a "Saturday Music School" will transform school holidays into a safe space, nurturing their spirits in a positive environment and opening up wider future opportunities for the children in the community.
