Burkina Faso, like other African countries, is facing unemployment. Indeed, according to the World Bank, the unemployment rate in Burkina Faso is estimated at 5.20%. Youth are the most affected by this phenomenon. Unemployment has multi-dimensional causes. It is important to emphasize that the Burkinabe state alone can hardly resolve the situation. It is up to all of us (Burkinabes and friends of Burkina Faso) to contribute to the resolution of this problem. Thus, in accordance with the vision of our Church, which is to offer economic and professional opportunities to young people; we have identified the need to set up pig farming. Pig farming is a very profitable activity in Burkina Faso because demand is greater than supply. It can, without a doubt, help a young person to escape unemployment. This cause will allow us to offer practical training in pig farming to young people on the one hand and on the other hand, it will allow us to generate income. Firstly, we will reinvest the money we will earn from the sale of pigs in this same pig farming project and secondly, we will use part of these funds generated in the development of infants, children and young people in our community.
