WHY IT MATTERS

This cause aims to significantly improve the conditions in which children receive instruction. Currently, we have been able to raise funds and build two of the six classrooms and a shed for early childhood education and vocational training for young people. The classrooms are built of cement and part of the shed of mud, but there is still work to be done to properly finish the buildings. We want to provide our children and young people with a healthy and pleasant environment, with a living room with a cement floor and a well-ventilated and durable shed. This project will benefit a total of 100 children and 50 young people each year.

The construction area is 1,000 m² with cinder block walls, cement floors, and a tin roof.

We also want to equip each classroom with 30 desks and a desk for children under 12 years old; We also plan to increase the number of machines available to teach sewing, hairdressing, and carpentry skills to young people. We also hope to have a whiteboard in every classroom.

This way, our children and youth will be able to receive their lessons in a healthy, clean, safe, and comfortable environment, so they will be motivated to return and continue learning. This will help significantly reduce the rate of children living outside of school and juvenile delinquency in our community.
