Due to his impoverished family circumstances and congenital heart disease, Mr. Phurinat faces health limitations that prevent him from performing strenuous work. His lack of educational opportunities and vocational skills hinder his ability to support himself and achieve long-term self-sufficiency. This egg-laying chicken project was initiated to promote household self-reliance. Raising chickens is a relatively low-impact activity suitable for Mr. Phurinat's physical condition. The fresh eggs will reduce food expenses and ensure nutritional security within the family, while surplus eggs can be sold to the local community, transforming free time into income for the family. This project not only addresses hunger and financial hardship but also significantly contributes to Mr. Phurinat's mental well-being, fosters self-esteem, and provides him with the opportunity to live with dignity and a sustainable future. Furthermore, he can share his knowledge with other children in the community.

The chicken coop is used for raising chickens. Water is supplied from a well and a water tank. Rice husks used for mixing feed are obtained from the family's rice milling process.

Skills Development and Systematic Management: The church will mentor Phurinat in keeping simple income and expenditure accounts, teach financial management skills, and help plan community marketing so that he and his family can manage the chicken farm professionally and become truly self-reliant. Value Addition: If there are surplus eggs after selling fresh, they can be processed into other products such as salted eggs or ready-to-eat meals to sell at higher prices and increase sales for the project. Zero Waste Farming: Chicken manure from the farm can be used to make bio-compost for growing vegetables for household consumption or packaged and sold to people in the community who are farmers, creating an additional income stream with virtually no additional cost.
