231 children go up and down cracked stairs every day, which now put their safety at risk.
Every day, 231 children and teenagers go up and down the stairs at our center. These stairs are in disrepair, with cracks and loose parts that endanger the children, their families, and the staff who work there. The youngest children are at the greatest risk: a fall on a poorly maintained staircase can cause serious injuries. Our center is committed to the well-being of children, but as long as the stairs remain in this condition, we cannot offer a truly safe environment for them to learn and grow.
With the repairs, children and their families will be able to move around the center without fear of accidents. The space will be more accessible and suitable for everyone, including the youngest children who need a safe environment to develop with peace of mind.
Repairing these stairs is an investment in the safety and future of our children.
Our vision is to help every child and young person grow holistically: in body, mind, heart, and spirit, by providing a safe environment filled with love, faith, and opportunities to develop their full potential.
