Young people will have a place to learn trades and build their own future without leaving home.
“Building the Future: Expanding the Learning Center”
In this community, one of the poorest and most isolated in the country, young people between the ages of 12 and 22 have few opportunities to access higher education or learn trades that would allow them to generate income. Many dream of starting their own businesses and supporting their families, but they lack a suitable space to prepare themselves.
Currently, the church has a small storage room, a stimulation room for mothers and babies from 0 to 3 years old, and an educational classroom for children and young people. The first phase of the project involves building the foundation and roof of the second floor, protecting and strengthening the existing infrastructure.
This project will be the first step toward creating, in a second phase, a Skills and Vocational Workshops Learning Center, where young people can develop practical skills, discover their talents, start businesses, and build a future with greater opportunities for themselves and their families.
“Through God’s redemptive work and the holistic work of the church, we will be a transformed community, and from our church will emerge the best agents of change, for the glory and honor of God.”
