The story begins with "Nong Athitthan," an 8-year-old girl. Every Saturday, Nong Athitthan excitedly attends church activities. However, what always worries her and her friends is break time, as the old restrooms are dilapidated and insufficient. The children have to queue for a long time, and sometimes Nong Arm has to hold it in until he gets a stomachache or is too afraid to use the restroom. This project was created to restore happiness, peace of mind, and good hygiene for all the children.
The "Toilet Improvement Project for Sustainable Children's Hygiene" was conceived to solve the problem of the church's dilapidated and insufficient restrooms. It will help hundreds of children in the community have access to clean, safe, and age-appropriate restrooms.
This project is essential because basic hygiene is the heart of learning. We will improve the structure, repair the water system, increase the number of restrooms, replace toilets with child-sized ones, and install sinks with hygiene education signs.
We hope to see the children use the facilities happily, stay healthy, be free from contagious diseases, and learn to their full potential without worrying about restrooms anymore.
