The church's kitchen has deteriorated to the point where it cannot safely serve the children in their program. The wooden frame is degrading, the roof leaks rainwater directly into the cooking area, and gaps in the walls let animals and pests inside. Food meant for the children is regularly contaminated or eaten before it ever reaches them. A rebuilt kitchen will give children clean meals prepared in a space free from animals, rain, and spoilage. The church will be able to store food securely and continue gathering children for worship and teaching without risking their health. This church wants to keep helping children grow in faith and understanding of God's care for them, and a safe kitchen is part of making that possible.
