We want to purchase two bunk beds with their mattresses so the children of a family can sleep in better conditions. Currently, the five children all sleep together in a single bed, which affects their well-being and sleep quality.
This family lives in a low-income community, located 3 kilometers from the main avenue, with dirt roads. The houses in this community are made of zinc, wood, and dirt floors. The community lacks basic services such as public transportation, drinking water, electricity, and telephone service.
The community also faces a severe lack of income opportunities. People must go out of the community to work informally to cover household needs.
Claudia, a woman who lost her sister to cancer, lives in this community. She now cares for her sister's five children, as well as her own child and one on the way. Claudia doesn't have the resources to purchase multiple beds, so all the children sleep together in one bed.
Reach the community with evangelistic and comprehensive programs centered on the Word of God.
