A group of poor and underprivileged youths from the village community play football in the church grounds after school and on weekends. Because they cannot use the school field and there is no suitable football field in the community, they regularly play at the church, a place they trust. Even though their homes are far away and they are poor, they find ways to get to the church by bicycle and on foot. While the community is plagued by drug abuse and gambling, the church is concerned about the future and spiritual development of these youths. We want them to have faith in God, be strong and secure in their hearts and minds, safe from temptations, and have healthy minds and bodies, bringing happiness and peace to their families.
The church now has a football field, but it lacks essential equipment and a safe, proper field. This includes fencing to protect the field from damage to the balls and neighboring buildings, as well as goalposts, floodlights, and a multi-purpose outdoor activity stage in the same area. We humbly request your kind assistance in providing this necessary support. A proper football field would encourage more youth in the community to play football, participate in church activities regularly, stay away from drugs and gambling, and develop their faith, or even compete at higher levels. They eagerly await the football field and talk about it with great excitement.
The Bua Lai Youth Development Vision is to nurture children and youth toward a balanced, high-quality life—spiritually, mentally, and socially. We are committed to developing future leaders, guiding them to salvation, and empowering them to share God's love with their families and communities. Our ultimate goal is to cultivate fruitful disciples of Christ who bring positive transformation to society and reflect His kingdom in all they do.
