Dear sponsors of the Compassion Hygiene and Holistic Care Cause, it is a pleasure to share new updates in our cause, which has been funded thanks to your support. We continue to be grateful to God and for your generosity in donating to provide better service to our participants. We regret that the cause has not yet been completed, as there have been delays in the construction of the handwashing stations because those in charge of the project have been unable to continue due to serious health issues, and the demand for work in our area has also contributed to the delays. We have been able to complete 70% of the project, and we hope to finish 100% by the end of August 2026. We pray that God will allow us to complete this project as soon as possible, as we know the importance of this cause.
Health and well-being are fundamental rights for our children and adolescents, and it is our job to ensure that these and many other rights are fulfilled. To this end, improving our facilities is essential to achieving the goals we have in each of their lives. Therefore, we share a bit of our history, from when God made it possible to bless the lives of our children through the Development program. Fourteen years ago, this ministry opened its doors to provide comprehensive care to our participants, who receive their classes in age-appropriate classrooms, where they are provided with meals. It is especially important during this time that they need to use water to wash their hands. However, we lack a suitable space for them to do so safely. We use a few taps that only work for four hours a day. Furthermore, there is no space where mothers with babies can bathe or change their infants. There is no space to wash the mops used to clean the classrooms where the participants are cared for. Furthermore, when it rains, the floor becomes slippery, putting the children at risk of injury. And while it's raining, they can't use the designated area to wash their hands because there's no roof to protect them from the rain. We trust that with God's help and your support, we can resolve this issue.
To train men and women to enlarge the Kingdom of CHRIST, in the minds and hearts of all those people that GOD puts within our reach, whether inside or outside our community, through the proclamation of the gospel and its values focused on different ages.
