Our community faces a lack of stable employment, which often forces parents to leave home to find work in other places. This separation affects families deeply. Children may be left without enough care and guidance, which can lead to neglect, aggression, and drug use. At the same time, many high school students may not continue their education but still want to build a future through practical work. If this is addressed, parents will be able to spend more time with their children while still earning income close to home. Children will benefit from stronger family relationships and more stable support. Youth who are interested in beauty-related work such as hairdressing and nail care will have the chance to learn skills that can lead to stable jobs and future businesses. This will also increase confidence, improve quality of life, and strengthen the local economy. To respond to this need, our church will provide vocational training in beauty-related skills such as hairdressing, nail care, facials, manicures, and pedicures. We want to create local job opportunities for both parents and youth so they can work within the community instead of leaving home. Participants will receive practical training, hands-on experience, and the support needed to begin earning income through small businesses or home-based services. This cause will expand what we have started, so that more people can train and we can help them establish their own businesses after training.

Going forward, our church will help participants build services that can continue generating income over time. Service prices will be set at a level that covers costs while also allowing participants to make a profit. We will maintain clear records of income and expenses so that participants can understand how their businesses are performing and make good financial decisions. We also want to establish strong service standards so customers feel confident returning regularly. Our church will encourage participants to build supportive relationships with customers and with one another, creating a local network that helps businesses grow. Seasonal events and promotions will also help attract new customers and keep services active throughout the year. Over time, participants will be able to expand into additional low-cost services such as facials, manicures, and pedicures, creating more stable and self-sustaining income for themselves and their families.
