Many children in our church currently sit on the floor during lessons and activities because there are not enough desks available. This makes it difficult for children to write comfortably, organize their materials, and stay focused during learning. Sitting on the floor for long periods can also lead to poor posture, fatigue, and health problems such as back, neck, and shoulder pain.
If this is addressed, children will be able to learn in a healthier and more organized environment. They will have their own space for writing, reading, and keeping their belongings. This will improve concentration, encourage discipline, and help children participate more confidently in classroom activities. It will also support better physical health by helping children sit correctly and avoid unnecessary pain or discomfort.
To respond to this need, our church wants to provide standard desks for 150 children. These desks will create a safe and supportive learning environment where children can study, complete activities, and grow in a more comfortable space.
