In the rural area of San José Villanueva, the church and its Child Development Center serve 327 children and young people with tutoring, food, and healthcare. However, the scarcity of potable water and the lack of adequate sanitation lead to frequent gastrointestinal illnesses that affect the dignity and development of families. To transform this reality, the "Healthy Children, Happy Children" campaign will completely remodel the current sanitation infrastructure, directly benefiting 500 people. The new technical design includes: 8 bathrooms: Segmented by age and gender to guarantee complete privacy and protection. 6 institutional sinks: To promote widespread handwashing. 2 school showers: So that children without water at home can attend school clean and motivated. 2 large water tanks: To ensure a 24-hour water supply.
