About the Cause

Posted by TH0304 in Thailand on 02/20/2026

Rising household expenses are making daily life harder for many families, especially those at the grassroots level. One essential product is dishwashing liquid, which every household uses to keep dishes and utensils clean. Buying it from the market adds up over time and can put a strain on limited budgets. By learning to make their own dishwashing liquid at home, families can lower these costs and have more money for other daily needs. At the same time, this skill can create opportunities to earn extra income by producing soap for others in the community. With this knowledge, families can become more self-reliant, reduce financial stress, and improve their overall quality of life.

How the church will sustain the Cause

Learning to make dishwashing liquid gives people the skills to be self-reliant and lower their household expenses. Because it does not require complex tools or technology, families can continue producing soap on their own at home. Those who want can turn it into a small source of income, and as they practice and share their knowledge with others in the community, the project can keep running without needing more outside funding.
