In the process of children and young people's growth, it has been shown that play is essential for greater physical, emotional and social development, therefore providing adequate spaces contributes to improving their quality of life.
This cause aims to improve and support the aspects described above, since when carrying out an analysis and evaluation in the community we found that there have never been spaces in the sector where children and young people can have fun in a healthy way. With this cause we will be benefiting more than 500 children served in the project and also those who are part of the community.
In addition, the play area can become a meeting point for families and neighbors of the church, strengthening community ties and offering healthy recreational alternatives to reduce the likelihood that children and young people become involved in criminal activities.
To carry out this cause, the church has provided physical space of approximately 50m2 to be able to adapt it and carry out the construction and installation of different recreational games for the boys and girls of the church and community. We want to equip the playground with swings, slides, climbing towers, seesaws, benches and tables. In this way, we will provide safe spaces for children to play, motivating and attracting them to attend church.
To be a church recognized for transforming lives, bringing children and families closer to Christ through access to resources and opportunities that allow them to grow in the spiritual, physical, cognitive and socio-emotional areas. And that each boy and girl feels known, loved and protected.
