We were inspired by Dani, a participant at our center who, like many other children in our community, faces very difficult living conditions. During a visit by one of our tutors, we witnessed the reality of his situation, where he sleeps with his siblings in a very precarious space, lacking the proper conditions for them to rest safely and with dignity. This initiative arose from the realization that several children, like Dani at our center, live in very vulnerable conditions and lack a proper bed. During visits by our tutors, we learned about the reality of Dani and other children who sleep in precarious spaces or share dilapidated beds with their siblings. Our goal is to help these children and their families by providing them with beds and mattresses that allow them to have a safe and dignified rest. We believe that sleeping well is a basic need that influences the health, emotional well-being, and development of every child. The community needs this initiative because many families face economic hardships that prevent them from meeting this basic need. Through a fundraising and donation campaign, we will work to acquire and deliver beds to children who need them most. We hope to improve the living conditions of these families by offering children a comfortable place to rest and grow. More than just providing a bed, we want to bring hope, love, and support.
