Three children will be able to sleep peacefully under a roof that no longer threatens to fall on them.
We have been visiting homes in our community, speaking with families to learn about their needs. One mother told us that her roof is falling apart and several walls are cracked. She lives with her husband and three sons: a 3-year-old, a 13-year-old, and a 16-year-old. She is a homemaker, and the father works as a messenger, but their earnings are not enough to repair the house. Every time it rains, this family faces the risk of the roof collapsing, and the damaged walls don't provide the protection they need.
With the roof and walls repaired, this family will be able to live peacefully and safely in their own home. The three boys will have a place to sleep and grow up without the fear of their home collapsing.
Our church will continue to walk alongside this family, accompanying them in prayer and faith, so that their home may be a place of peace.
We want to achieve the ideal of having a children for Christ, free from poverty, with an optimal level of spiritual development that leads them to be part of a generation of preachers of the word of the Lord. We seek to form an integrated society that helps us as a church to worship the name of God.
