This project aims to address the pressing issues faced by children and youth in the community, particularly the risk of drug involvement fueled by the lack of safe, constructive spaces for leisure and recreation. Many families in the area experience violence and instability, which further impacts children's development and well-being.
The project will primarily help children and youth at risk of drug addiction, parents seeking safe environments for their children, and the community at large by reducing social problems and promoting a healthier, safer environment.
The community's need for this project stems from the scarcity of activities and spaces that positively nurture children's potential. Without intervention, issues like drug abuse, domestic violence, and low self-confidence among youth are likely to worsen.
The methodology involves mobilizing church committee meetings and utilizing community resources—such as volunteer support, time, and energy—to implement the project effectively.
Expected outcomes include improved physical and mental health for children and youth, strengthened family relationships, and a reduction in violence. Ultimately, the community will become stronger, safer, and drug-free, with youth growing into confident, capable future leaders.
Transform the quality of life for children and the community by fostering knowledge and excellence, empowering individuals to overcome poverty, all grounded in the love of Christ at the heart of our community.
