One of our church's ongoing ministries is a football outreach for children and youth. Many young people in the area face difficult family situations, financial hardship, and exposure to drugs and violence. Football gives them a safe place to spend their time and a positive environment where they feel accepted. One young man from a separated family always asks to sleep at the church after practice because he feels safe there. He does not even have shoes or socks for training. Stories like his are not rare. The church is seeking support to purchase essential football equipment and provide meals for children and youth who attend training sessions. Having proper equipment allows them to practice safely and with dignity. Providing food ensures that no child goes home hungry after spending hours training. Through football, children and youth learn teamwork, discipline, unity, and respect. When they spend their time practicing and learning skills, they are less likely to be drawn into drugs, fighting, or other harmful activities. The church also believes that this ministry gives young people the opportunity to grow spiritually, develop strong character, and become positive examples in their families and community.
10% is used for operating costs, enabling us to grow and expand our ability to offer Compassion Causes to more churches worldwide.

The football club will continue beyond initial funding through support from church members, community leaders, and parents who are committed to youth development. Local fundraising efforts and shared community contributions will help maintain equipment and program activities over time. Because the church has already been serving the community for nearly 20 years, it has strong local trust and consistent participation. With proper equipment in place, the program can continue operating at low cost while providing long-term impact for children and youth.
